Dedicated Leadership for Complex Financial IT Change

Founded to bridge the gap between consultancy advice and hands-on execution, Sevenstone deploys senior IT and cyber leaders with full accountability. We focus exclusively on the Financial Services sector, navigating complex regulatory landscapes and vendor dependencies to ensure project success.

Julian Fellows
Founder & Executive Director

Julian’s success across all four pillars of cybersecurity stems from his ability to analyse complex problems, communicate transparently with stakeholders, build consensus, and lead execution through to completion. His greatest strength lies in being brought into high-pressure situations where trust has eroded, communication has broken down, and critical outcomes are at risk. Time and again, he has established clarity, aligned stakeholders, and driven programs to successful resolution with consistency, discipline, and determination.

Over the course of his career, Julian has worked with many of the world’s most recognised organisations across more than 20 countries, including Deloitte, PwC, Accenture, IBM, Micro Focus, DXC, Getronics, major banks, insurance and financial services providers, telecommunications companies, and government agencies. His diplomatic approach, unwavering integrity, and willingness to take ownership of outcomes have been as valuable as his technical expertise.

For almost 30 years, Julian has delivered measurable results in some of the most demanding technology and cybersecurity environments. As Founder and Executive Director of Sevenstone, he continues to lead from the front, providing exceptional execution capacity to CIOs and CISOs operating in increasingly complex and high-pressure environments.

Today’s technology leaders face relentless demands across digital transformation, cybersecurity, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and business-as-usual operations—all while maintaining always-on services and managing growing stakeholder expectations.

Julian’s experience has shown that most CIOs and CISOs are not lacking in strategy, capability, or financial discipline. Their greatest challenge is often securing the immediate execution capacity required to deliver complex initiatives before traditional resources can be recruited, onboarded, and brought up to speed. Sevenstone exists to bridge that gap—providing experienced leadership and rapid execution when organisations need it most.

Execution Lead, Rapid Response

Execution Rapid Response is led by a senior delivery operator who can mobilise quickly, embed calmly into pressured cyber and technology programmes, and take ownership of outcomes. They bring clarity, accountability and delivery discipline where confidence has slipped, blockers are unresolved or leadership capacity is stretched. Their work is measured not by advice produced, but by momentum restored, issues closed and outcomes landed.

Interim CISO

The Interim CISO Office is led by a board-credible security executive who can step into a leadership gap, control crisis or high-pressure remediation environment and stabilise the function quickly. They combine CISO-level judgement with hands-on execution discipline, restoring confidence with executives, boards, regulators and security teams while keeping the organisation focused on measurable outcomes.

Head of Delivery Leadership

The Delivery Leadership Office is led by a senior portfolio execution leader who becomes the single control point for complex cyber and technology delivery. They restore order where delivery risk is systemic, aligning executives, programmes, vendors and governance functions around one clear rhythm, one escalation path and measurable outcomes. Their strength is disciplined execution without bureaucracy: creating confidence, reducing firefighting and moving the portfolio from fragmented activity to controlled delivery.

Capacity Planning Lead

The Early-Stage Capacity Planning team is led by a senior delivery and transformation leader who helps clients prepare for the next major cyber or technology programme before pressure peaks. They identify where leadership capacity, governance, sequencing or mobilisation may break, then turn executive ambition into a realistic delivery design. Their strength is prevention: helping clients move into the next programme with the right capacity, clarity and operating rhythm already in place.
